So, I need your collective googling power Oppo, I am hunting to replace what I thought was a legit !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! but turns out is just a cheap knockoff that could explode in my car any time it really feels like it. I was offered a decent replacement price on a real XP-10 but I’ve come to the conclusion that 1 amp of charging for a 18 Ahr battery doesn’t really cut it, especially since its way too easy to draw more than double that just charging a phone. So here is what I am looking for and can’t seem to find:
1. 14 ahr battery minimum (no sealed lead acid batts, AGM...okay)
2. 600 amps jump starting capability
3. must be chargeable from a 12v source and have overcharge protection (leave it plugged in)
4. It needs to have at least a couple of USB ports and 1 12v cig output (120vac or other outputs gravy)
5. no more than $250
6. 30w input minimum current.
The goal of this unit would be to leave in my car plugged in and to use it as a power center to charge camera/phone batteries and to act as a “house” battery for a future in portable fridge. Something like a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ...but with jump starting would be ideal.
Anyone find anything in their hunting that could fit the bill?

That’s pretty damn sexy for under $90

still only 15 watts input (also...15v charge input...what kind of battery do they think they are charging from? my alternator turns off charge current at 14.8V.) and there is something unsettling about spending less than $100 for 17 amp li-ion battery... Thanks for the link though, its a new path to explore.

I would guess that the Car charger has a DC-DC converter to get 15V. Looking at the picture it looks like it has something like that built in. But yeah, it probably won’t charge very fast. As far as the price, China is a hell of a drug.....

When it comes to batteries I’m always nervous about that particular drug. Given that my chinese knockoff battery is bloated and swollen

It’s a good instinct, especially with Li-ION. They fail can spectacularly.

Exactly, given that the exact knockoff I have right now is the same one that this guy had...

anker is a pretty common brand these days, and it says it charges in 5.5 hours. but only 15 Ah

Thats what got me thinking about it. Looking at this, it looks promising, 55 w-hr batter 3 amp charge port for ~$250. Looks solid. Another option I’m miling over is this added to this plus an AGM deep cycle group 24.

if you are doing a more custom setup, I would do a deep cycle battery in parallel with a super cap for starting duty.

I’ve im carting along a full size AGM, Im not as worried about jumping, since I could just swap the batteries, or direct connect.
